An education technology startup, AOne raises

FREMONT, CA: AOne, one of the emerging edtech startups, has raised $500000 in its seed funding round. Wavemaker Partners, which is an early-stage venture capital firm that has funded AOne. This education technology startup, AOne, is based in Malaysia, and the company is excited to take the company to the next higher level of success. In addition to this round of financing, the company had received $48,000 as funds earlier this year in the month of April, from ScaleUp Malaysia. This was a result of AOne participating in the inaugural cohort of the startup accelerator.

The company AOne was founded in the year 2015 with My AOne Learning, a marketplace for offline lessons and tutoring services in Malaysia. Dedicating itself to enhance the landscape of education and boost the offerings in terms of curriculum and teaching, the company would cover a wide range of learning materials in terms of lessons, academic skills, and topics and course subjects, along with easy and accessible ways and techniques to excel in maths, language and literature, and arts and crafts as well.

From the time of its inception, the company has been expanding its offerings to make its suite of solutions smarter and better as well. AOne has come up with a unique and highly innovative learning management system, AOne Schools. This solution enables educational institutions to manage the process of teaching and learning increasingly in a more profound, proactive, and dynamic manner, schedule classes, manage student and teacher data, post announcements, and even track and collect client payments. AOne’s proprietary learning management system, AOne Schools has been used by more than 800 teachers and learning centers across Southeast Asia.
