The PD platform aims at increasing student achievement by improving performance of teachers through professional development for curriculum as well as technology. It creates a data driven environment to support student’s learning while allowing teachers to review and plan lessons based on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. It facilitates the teaching schedules and enables teachers to meet their PD requirements.
The upgraded platform includes the Instructional Support Now feature that allows K-12 educators to connect through live video with a member of Teq PD team. Other features include new online PD classes comprising of Microsoft 365 and Google Apps for digital teacher certifications; new administrative features like categorizing similar videos into a PD playlist and enhancements in online discussions and PD planning. The platform has increased the total number of online courses to 150.
