FREMONT, CA: Visitor Aware, visitor and volunteer management software provider, announced the launch of Its new application Watchdog. The new application will enable users to trigger alerts and emergencies from any mobile device. Once an event is triggered, application notifications, SMS texts, emails, and phone calls are sent out pending user preferences. In order to get an insight into how the software works, the company is providing an option for school officials to schedule a free remote demonstration to witness how the new software will improve their current emergency management process.

The technology has been developed to support schools during a time when disaster response coordination and student reunification plans are needed at K-12 schools. “Our online administration dashboard allows school officials and emergency response teams to properly coordinate their response during a crisis,” said Joanna Haugland, director of sales and marketing at Visitor Aware. “Once the crisis has ended, our software then assists with student reunification efforts.”

The essential application provides an affordable way to manage crisis events and reunite students with their families after the situation has been handled. A valid state-issued identification card is required by anyone sent to pick up children to prevent confusion. Watchdog and all products offered by Visitor Aware are available through one annual subscription without any hidden fees.

“Visitor Aware is our visitor and volunteer management software, whereas Watchdog is a separate all-inclusive emergency management application. Our services are designed for K-12 schools and daycares such as private schools, charter schools, and public schools, alongside other privileged access locations that need to utilize effective visitor management and monitoring procedures,” said Bennett Stone, the founder, and CTO of Visitor Aware.

Through its complete product offering, the company aims to protect the world's most valuable asset- children. The Watchdog software application provides a way to bring structure to an otherwise chaotic reunification process. Visitor Aware was listed as the Hottest K-12 Solution Providers for 2020 by Education Technology Insights Magazine.
